About Us
The Abbott Shire of Loch Lomond Civic Association (or "Loch Lomond" for short) was founded in 1981 being dedicated to serving homeowners and maintaining the various grounds and amenities of the Neighborhood. Loch Lomond is named after the Scottish Loch (or "lake" in Gaelic) which is 14 miles north of Glasgow and separating the the Lowlands and Highlands of Scotland. The name Loch Lomond reflects the nature around the neighborhood and the quiet fishing pond area.
The Association operates through its elected Board of Directors. An annual Association meeting is held in the Autumn of each year to elect Directors for the following year, and to conduct other official business. We encourage all members to actively participate in Association business and activities.
